Summary: We adored this Carmel property, it was perfect for our family of five. The couch was very comfortable for my 16 year-old. The sweet outdoor patio was lovely to relax in after walking to the beach. The beach is walkable! Literally like two blocks away is one of the most beautiful beaches with cerulean water and pristine sand. Walking to Ocean Avenue was a longer walk, about 25 minutes, but the town itself is so picturesque that we thought nothing of it. The layout of the house was ideal with the bedrooms along the hallway, separated by a door.A few downsides: Bring your own body soap, there wasn’t enough. Get the lockbox code ahead of time because ours was not sent until two hours after we got there. There’s construction nearby, but it’s very minimal noise during the day. The noise was away from the bedrooms, so not really an issue.Overall, a five star property in the best location!
